A bright, vibrant and elegant mood board

I realise that the title to this post might sound like a bit of an oxymoron, but just bear with me…

In my previous post I talked about the thinking behind the brand identity for the Fiona and Sophie collaboration. Sophie’s non-negotiables are bright and vibrant, mine are pared back and elegant. And whilst that may sound like a contradiction in terms, I’m certain that by limiting the quantity of colours we use on each piece and combining with plenty of white space, we can tick both boxes. I’m seeing simple pops of colour, beautiful typography and elegant finishes.

Here’s the mood board…

I’m so excited about where we take this and I really think it’s going to work well. We have the small matter of a name to create first, which given the other commitments we both have may take a moment or two for us to give it our full attention, but when we do give it our attention, I feel certain that the name, and the brand identity will come together beautifully.
